Sassy, Classy, and a Little Bit Smart-Assy

So since my wedding is coming up next Sunday I decided that I wanted to do two cleanses; one this week and one next week. I have done a juice cleanse once before for three days and loved it. It's not all about the weight loss for me either, I just loved how refreshed I felt and how much energy I had. Since I have done a juice cleanse before I wanted to try something new. I read about a cleanse called Kaeng Raeng on Lauren Conrad's blog and thought that it sounded great.

Kaeng Raeng means be healthy, be strong. It is gluten free, soy free, caffeine free, non-gmo, and all natural. You drink one pouch per meal three times a day for three days, and can also eat raw fruit and veggies. You mix the pouches with water, or juice. There are three flavors; into the blue, joyful, and daybreak.

Now here is where I admit that I failed miserably. I just couldn't get past the taste, and only lasted one day. I mixed the first pouch, which was a blueberry flavor, with water and took a sip. It literally tasted like water mixed with chalk. I drank the whole bottle, and was full but wasn't sure if I would be able to keep drinking the pouches. The second bottle I couldn't even finish. I thought about mixing the pouches with juice instead but decided against it because it would require a lot of juice.

Okay so I feel a little disappointed in myself, and have been eating fruits and veggies to try to make up for not finishing the cleanse. Also I am doing a juice cleanse for four days starting this Sunday so I am excited for that.

The bright side to this is that the Kaeng Raeng cleanse did come with some beauty products that I actually love.

There is a detoxfoliant scrub, a cleansing clay mask, and an afterglow serum. I am absolutely in love with the afterglow serum, it has made my face super soft. It's basically like an oil, but it doesn't make your face oily.

Has anyone else ever done the Kaeng Raeng cleanse? And do you have any advice on how to make it taste better?
So it's 2015 and I decided to do something that I have wanted to do for quite some time now; start a blog. I know that I'm a few days late on the New Year resolutions but I thought that I would still start by listing a few goals that I have for 2015.

1. Compete with myself, not with others. This is a big one for me because I constantly compare myself to other people, when I really should just strive to be the best me that I can be.

2. Stick to a workout/diet plan. I want to make sure that I workout at least three times a week no excuses. In 2014 I started Kayla Itsines' Bikini Body Guide and stuck to it for about a month. The results that I saw were amazing, but then I stopped. This year I want to finish the whole 12 weeks of the guide and start on the second part which is another 12 weeks.

3. Purchase a house. My husband to be (two weeks oh my gosh) and I are getting really crammed in our one bedroom apartment. I would love to find the perfect home for us that I can have fun decorating. Plus, I'm not sure if my tiny closet can keep up with my love for shopping much longer.

4. Be a better friend/wife. A lot of my best friends live in different cities now, and I want to make more effort to go see them. It's hard when everyone goes their separate ways after college, but my friendships are very important to me. As for the wife part, well I'm not a wife yet, but I am about to be and I want to work on the things that Stephen has asked of me and also to make our relationship stronger.

Overall, I have the feeling that the best is yet to come, and that 2015 will definitely top 2014.

In exactly 13 days, I will become Mrs. Mundy. I can't even begin to describe all of my feelings regarding the wedding other than pure bliss and excitement. The next two weeks will be crazy hectic but I'm just going to enjoy the ride.

I hope that everyone had a wonderful New Year! What are some of your resolutions or goals?
